Increased and shine, my babies, the summer solstice comes to us.
The solstice arrives this year on June 20, 2025, at 22:42, marking the moment our favorite death star is in its zenith.
“We are at the peak of summer and the Pico de la Llum in the Northern Hemisphere. It is a good time to be a hedonist, enjoy and have this moment of recognition. It is currently good for good times because we will have some challenges later this year,” Evolutionary astrologer Jill Brown told The Post.
The word solstice results in “Sun Standing Still”, and this day offers a similar summons to the mortals, to be still and contemplate our own precipice, looking back what has been and ahead of what it will be.
The Summer Solstice offers the longest day of the year and pushes us to the tides high and the emotional depths of the cancer season. As a cardinal water, cancer attracts us to intuition, the female mystery, the inner worlds and the deep care.
Indeed, the solstice lights the way home.
“The solstice reminds me of Joseph Campbell ‘Hero’s Journey’, where we have reached the false end or the road. We have not ended, we know that there is still a trip. It is bittersweet because, from here, we lose light every day. This is an opportunity to be really intentional about this pinnacle and about the time between now and winter.”
Get -as you can, people and read Brown’s suggestions on how to praise this pinnacle according to your zodiac sign.
Signs of Fire – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Brown urges the signs of fire to participate in rituals that embrace and/or stabilize their elementary nature.
“In the pagan tradition, the solstice is celebrated with bonfires and people who meet. If you are a fire with a fixation practice, burn your intentions after they are made.”
Circle to go down and burn it to go well, people.
Brown also recommends cleaning smoke/smoking, fortifying ashes and purifying the body with sweat.
“I think any kind of ritual involving movement is really good for our fire signs, any kind of intense physical activity, anything that balances this powerful energy.”
Brown, which tilts with this impulse, Brown recommends making a trip, either far and wide or around the bend, to pay tribute to the solstice.
Signs of Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Brown recommends that the signs of the earth put their feet on the ground and hands in the dirt.
“For the elements of the Earth, take a barefood meditative walk, go to a botanical garden or any kind of intentional outdoor activity.”
It indicates that going smoothly helps the body while planting a grass can help the desire to bloom.
“I love the idea of using vegetable magic to align your intentions from the solstice. Whether your space is large or small, a test in pot like basil is easy to grow.”
Brown states that Basil is traditionally associated with prosperity and abundance, which makes him ideal for signs of the land that seek to cultivate financial freedom in the coming months.
Rich dirt and deep pockets, if you will.
As the signs of the land took for earthly delights, Brown recommends hosting a solstice dinner that brings the reward to the table: “You offer a really good local food, which is physically nourished and contributes to your community.”
Aerial Signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Brown urges the signs of air to follow the winding trace of his curiosity and obey the command to the Commune.
“If there is something you are interested in or you are interested in a course you want to do, go there. Register proactively for this type of work will be very important to move forward. If there is a charity or a political cause that interests you, now it would be a good time to intentionally relate to these outlets and meet in the community.”
More heads in the clouds than the feet of the Earth, Brown says that the solstice is a good time for the signs of air to practice earth rituals.
“To be a divine channel, you have to take root -think of yourself as a tree; you have the branches and behaviors in the sky, but you are tied to the roots to achieve all this in a tangible way. If you melt your connection, you can deepen. Otherwise, this energy is really spread and cannot be created and cannot be built.”
Brown recommends experimenting with earth crystals or a crystal network or meditation, practices that help the signs of air to maintain space and transcend from the cerebral to the incarnate.
Signs of water – Cancer, scorpion, fish
Brown recommends that the signs of water go beyond the ritual bath normally prescribed to find a more transcendent experience.
“How could the water not only relax, but it is upset and revealing? I love the idea of using this element in different sensory ways. Try a cold immersion or a weightless deposit. There is nothing wrong with taking a ritualistic bath, but it is the solstice, a time to invest in something different and invite to the opportunity to move the system to wake up.”
Brown also suggests that the signs of water enter traditional and non -traditional healing or esoteric practices.
“This is the element that can really go: the work of breathing, the regression of past life, hypnotherapy, palmistic, ayahuasca, shamanism. Choose the modality, but really challenge -you try something outside of your comfort zone to see how this deep inner work might seem.”
